Need assistance for installation on SATA drive (specirficall

Hey all,
Well, I've been trying to get Beta 2 installed on my system and I've hit a snag that I can't figure out.
Here's my system specs :
MB: A8N-SLI Deluxe CPU: AMD 64 3200+ RAM: 2 GB Vid: Nvidia GeForce 7800 GT HDDs: 160 GB, 160 GB, 160 GB, 320 GB (all SATA Seagates) with two of the 160's in RAID 0 configuration
First
off, I learned the hard way (before researching) that a clean Vista installation from boot is not possible.
No
problem. In my XP x64 I ran the 64bit Beta 2 installation DVD. And with the help of "The definitive guide on installing Vista 32/64bit on Nvidia SATA/RAID" (http://www.aoaforums.com/forum/os-software-firmware-and-bios/36856-definitive-guide-installing-vista-32-64bit.html) I am able to finally get the proper drivers loaded to the point where the installation program copies all files to my selected partition (the 320 GB SATA) and it reboots.
This is where things go awry. The loading of the new Vista partition continues on until it reaches the black screen with the progress graphic and the Microsoft copywrite message. At this point it just hangs forever.
I then rebooted the machine and went into the Vista safe mode to see what was happening. The drivers get loaded all the way down until it reaches the the "..system32/drivers/disk.sys" driver. And this is where it hangs.
And that's where I'm stuck. So in short, I have to load the Nvidia drivers for the installation, but the actual Vista OS files are being installed on a singular SATA drive (NOT the RAID).
Any help or ideas I could get to move forward would be greatly apprecitated!
Thanks in advance.
cheers jon
